DuBois – the Community Cup is given to a business, civic group or non-profit organization which has shown positive and effective performance in community service. This award highlights the entrepreneurial spirit of organizations who have taken responsibility for the community’s betterment. The award was initiated in 1991 and recipients are nominated, then selected based the following criteria:
- Exhibiting leadership and optimism, and affirm this ethic among their employees
- Extending positive influence beyond the its “Business” realm
- Encouraging other business to do the same for the betterment of the community
“We at Atlas Pressed Metals are honored to accept the Community Cup award,” says President Jude Pfingstler. “It is a privilege to give back to our community of which we have member for almost 40 years.
