Atlas Team Conquers Tour de Brockway

It was hard to miss Team Atlas on July 4^th this year as they participated in the 38th annual Tour de Brockway event. Nine Atlas employees, clad in neon green shirts, pedaled their way through the 21 ½ mile circular course through Brockway and the adjoining back roads of local townships. The race featured seven intense hill climbs along with flat and rolling terrain. Team Atlas was the first to register as a team in this event.

What a great team building experience” comments Andy Wright, an account manager for Atlas Pressed Metals, after finishing in the middle of the pack of 107 riders.  “It’s great to see people from all different areas of the plant come together as a team and represent Atlas in the community”.

More to come as members of this team hit the road again in the upcoming Tour de Varacallo Bicycle Race and Memory Walk  in DuBois, PA on July 28, 2019.  Proceeds from this event are provided to The Dr. Albert Varacallo Foundation.
