Atlas Pressed Metals Welcomes New Team Members

Atlas is pleased to announce that our team is growing! Please help us welcome the following individuals to our company – their experience and professionalism complement the sintered metal capabilities, services and support we offer. 

Bob Bojalad

Manager of Information Technology (IT)

Bob-cropRobert, “Bob” Bojalad joins Atlas Pressed Metals as our Manager of Information Technology (IT).

As a life-long DuBois resident, Bob has gained extensive experience in IT at a local non-profit hospital and has extended his passion for service throughout our community through volunteer work. 

Doug Pfingstler, Vice President of Administration at Atlas Pressed Metals states, “I have known Bob for a long time. His personality and the knowledge that he has gained from his previous employer are going to be a tremendous asset to Atlas for years to come and we are excited to have him”.

Bob has worked in IT for 20+ years at Penn Highlands Healthcare (previously DuBois Regional Medical Center) since earning his Bachelor of Science in Information Systems at Clarion University.  During his tenure, Bob served as a Microcomputer Specialist and was promoted to the Director of Outpatient Informatics where he managed the Informatics Department, implemented the Practice Management Software, and strived to bridge the gap between IT and Ambulatory Healthcare.  Bob is also a dedicated community member.  He currently serves as Treasurer of the DuBois Volunteer Fire Department, which is a 100% volunteer organization that serves DuBois and the surrounding communities.  

In October, Bob and his wife Shelly will celebrate their 19th wedding anniversary.  They have two children, Morgan, who is 18, and Gavin, who is 15.  Together their family enjoys spending time outdoors and watching Morgan and Gavin excel in cheerleading and soccer.  Bob also enjoys hunting with Morgan and gaming and watching Marvel movies with Gavin.  

Crissy Whitehouse

Customer Service

Crissy-cropChristine, “Crissy”, Whitehouse joins the Atlas Pressed Metals customer service team.  She has diverse technical and support experiences acquired through her 8+ years of experience from Penn Highlands Healthcare. 
Crissy’s expertise in patient care, health information systems, and strategic implementation coupled with her Associate’s Degree in Business from DuBois Business College will greatly support and enhance her role in Customer Service. Bill Wurm, Production Manager from Atlas Pressed Metals states, “I am excited to welcome Crissy to our team.  Her work ethic, energetic attitude, and easy-going mind-set will allow her to successfully assist and support our Atlas team and customers.”

Crissy and her husband Dave of 23 years have two children, Collin and Katie. They are excited to announce that their daughter is getting married in October.  As outdoor enthusiasts, Crissy and Dave enjoy spending their free time camping, fishing, and ATV riding. 

Scot Coble

Metallurgical Analysis Team

Scot-cropScot Coble joins the Atlas Pressed Metals’ Metallurgical Analysis Team. Scot brings a diverse expertise to the Atlas team with acquired supervisory skills from a previous career and powdered metallurgy knowledge from advanced collegiate studies and research.

After working and advancing to a supervisory position in a construction and excavating company, special circumstances led Scot to The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State), DuBois campus, where he earned a Bachelor of General Engineering with specific focus on Applied Materials.  The research that he conducted at Penn State on lubricant removal of powder metallurgy compacts afforded him, and his lab partner, the opportunity to present their research at the International Conference on Powder Metallurgy (PowderMET) in 2021 and 2022.  PowderMET is the leading symposium on powder metallurgy and particulate materials hosted annually by the Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF).  Scot’s research was also published in Thermal Processing Magazine and Powder Metallurgy Review. 

“Scot contributes to new perspectives on the analysis and investigation of materials solutions for Atlas’ products and processes.  His attention to high quality, detailed measurement and ability to leverage his educational knowledge of material’s properties allows for efficient and thorough contributions into providing the absolute best service possible by the metallurgical team.  In Scot’s time with Atlas, he has already proven to be a key talent in working with the group to solve the day to day technical challenges of production while also providing input for strategic innovations to benefit overall business growth,“ says Dr. Craig Stringer, Director of Innovation and Technology, Atlas Pressed Metals.

Scot and his wife Chastity have been married for 22 years, and live in Marion Center, PA.  They have two children both of whom are students at The Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).  Clayton, age 20 is majoring in Environmental Regional Planning and daughter   Jerzey, age 19, is majoring in Early Childhood Education.  Together, Scot and Chastity enjoy working on indoor and outdoor DIY home projects and spending time with family and friends.  

Mark Powell

Sales Team

MarkPowellMark Powell of Brookville joins the Atlas sales team covering the southern states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
“We are excited to have Mark join our team and to focus on these southern states. We believe there is a lot of potential in this area, and we know Mark will develop exciting opportunities for Atlas,” says Jude Pfingstler, President, Atlas Pressed Metals.

Mark comes to Atlas after over 16+ successful years with the Laurel Eye Clinic. During his tenure, Mark managed the marketing department, patient education and training, and the customer service and call center operations.  Equally successful, Mark has led the Brookville Varsity Girls Basketball team for 20 seasons and the Penn State DuBois Campus Golf team for the past 5 years. Mark was also the Head golf professional at the DuBois County Club for 10 years.

Mark and his wife Amy of 27 years have two daughters. They are Elaina, who is 24 and lives in Martinsburg, WV working as a Safety Officer and Kira who is turning 21 and is a Junior at Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL aspiring to get into Real Estate.

Although somewhat obvious, Mark enjoys coaching, golf, hunting and traveling with his family.

Anne Young

Marketing and Customer Support

Anne-cropAnne Young, a native of DuBois, joins Atlas Pressed Metals in the marketing and customer support department.
Anne has an impressive background in many areas including communications, project management, strategy development, problem solving and leadership.  “Anne’s accomplishments in these areas will contribute greatly our customer support and marketing activities here at Atlas, says Sally Moran, Director of Marketing , Atlas Pressed Metals. “We are very excited to have Anne join our team.”

Anne comes to Atlas after 18 successful years in the DuBois educational system beginning as Secondary Gifted Education Teacher to her most recent positions as Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment for the DuBois Area School District and Executive Director of the DuBois Area Schools’ Alumni and Educational Foundation.  

Anne and her husband Ryan of 13 years have one daughter, Aubrey.  Together, they enjoy hiking, mountain biking, camping, and spoiling their Golden Retrievers, Daisy and Duke.
